Well its month 4 and counting! I will be 17 weeks tomorrow, and soon (April 2nd) we will know what the sex will be!!! I am starting to feel movement from the baby too. It was really subtle and random at first, but now that its more frequent I can definitely tell, especially when im sitting still. It feels like popcorn pops, and little brushes of movement. Its all very sureal, and weird, but very cool! Peter keeps trying to feel it when it happens, but its a little too early for that. He/she is definitely a mover...ever since the first sono it was bouncing around. Even our Dr. has to keep up with it just to hear the hearbeat (166-BTW)!! Im sure it wont be long until Daddy can feel his baby moving around.
Soon we will be moving into the new house and I can start getting the nursery ready. There is so much happening already this year, and we are so thankful to have such great family and friends who support and care for us. I am so greatful to have such a wonderful Husband who shows how much he loves me everyday. He truly is my soulmate and I couldnt imaging my life without him. What a wonderful father he is going to make! I have never been so happy in my life, and its unbelievable to think that when we have our baby here with us there will be even more joy in our lives.
I will leave you with some photos of the belly so everyone can see the progress from month 3 till now. The baby weighs about 5 oz, and is 5 inches long head to bottom.

3 month mark and second sonogram

This is the second visit to the Dr, and everything looks fine so far! The baby has practically doubled in size (so has my belly), and was doing a little upsidown yoga pose for us. I am almost finished with the first trimester and will be 12 weeks on saturday! We still wont know the sex for about 6 more weeks, but our sono tech did look, and she said if she had to guess now she would say it looked like a boy (it might just be the umbilical cord, but who knows?).

I will keep everyone posted with the growing belly and everything else that is coming in the 2nd trimester, this ones supposed to be the best! Looking forward to the first kick, and knowing that soon the nervous system is developed enough that the baby can hear and recognize voices. The nausea is pretty much gone, and I am looking forward to getting my energy back. Peter and I feel so happy to be having this experience, and are looking forward to getting to know our little bugger more every day!

We got a waive from the baby! :)
Sporting a 3 month baby bump....

First Sono

Peter and I finally had our first sonogram today! He-or she-is already kicking and moving and we got to see the heart beating on the monitor! It was so great to finally see the evidence that there is a little baby actually growing inside there....very cool! I am 9 1/2 weeks along so a few more weeks to go before the first trimester is over. Thanks for all the support and love from everyone. We will keep you posted!
