Ok, so I have had several of you wanting to see a photo of me and the bump. So...here you all go! This was taken at 8 mos. She is getting really big and there isnt much wiggle room for her anymore.:)
Today was the last sonogram for Elly...I am 36 weeks and counting! The Dr. said that everything is wonderful and she is very healthy. They estimate her weight now at 6 lbs 10 oz...so we are probably looking at an 8 to 8 1/2 pound baby. Its very hot here, so I hope she comes sooner than later! The nursery is pretty much finished minus a few small details. Peter and I are anxiously awaiting her arrival in the next month!
The cake table...wow, I still cant get over what a wonderful job my mom did on the cake. It tasted just as good as it looked!!! Thanks mom!

Ok, so its been a long while since I have posted anything on the baby blog...sorry everyone! Time is getting away from me and I can't believe that I am 7 1/2 months already. Tiffany and my Mom threw a wonderful baby shower last sunday and we had a great time! Both my Mima and Nanny were able to come so it made it extra special. Ellyce got lots of cute clothes and neat things.
Me and my mom also finished painting Elly's room and I set up her crib (FYI-the bedding has changed since I posted last). it is coming together really well. Still so much to do before she gets here, but I find that I am getting worn out really easily these days....
I can see her moving through my belly now and its really funny...she moves and kicks alot (I am starting to fight for lung space :). Her due date is in 8 weeks and Peter and I are very exited to meet our daughter!
Well it's month 5, finally halfway there! We now know that we will be having a little baby girl! We are both very exited for her to come this August! Now I can start getting the nursery ready and can plan a little easier. Nanny and Grandad has already given her a wonderful bedding set that is absolutely adorable, and I will plan the nursery around that. The colors are a soft orange, with splashes of teal, green, and yellow.
She is growing about half an inch every week and getting stronger every day. I cant wait for Peter to be able to feel her move around (I think he is pretty anxious too!). Im sure he is already planning her tennis career. :) We have been really busy with the move and getting our new house situated. My Mom has been such a great help with everything, and if it weren't for her I dont think we would have had such a smooth ride (thanks Mom!). Things are coming along nicely, and soon we can just take a breath and enjoy everything.
Here is our latest sonogram:

Well its month 4 and counting! I will be 17 weeks tomorrow, and soon (April 2nd) we will know what the sex will be!!! I am starting to feel movement from the baby too. It was really subtle and random at first, but now that its more frequent I can definitely tell, especially when im sitting still. It feels like popcorn pops, and little brushes of movement. Its all very sureal, and weird, but very cool! Peter keeps trying to feel it when it happens, but its a little too early for that. He/she is definitely a mover...ever since the first sono it was bouncing around. Even our Dr. has to keep up with it just to hear the hearbeat (166-BTW)!! Im sure it wont be long until Daddy can feel his baby moving around.
Soon we will be moving into the new house and I can start getting the nursery ready. There is so much happening already this year, and we are so thankful to have such great family and friends who support and care for us. I am so greatful to have such a wonderful Husband who shows how much he loves me everyday. He truly is my soulmate and I couldnt imaging my life without him. What a wonderful father he is going to make! I have never been so happy in my life, and its unbelievable to think that when we have our baby here with us there will be even more joy in our lives.
I will leave you with some photos of the belly so everyone can see the progress from month 3 till now. The baby weighs about 5 oz, and is 5 inches long head to bottom.
